Melissa E. Bekisz, Attorney at Law


Melissa E. Bekisz is a solo practitioner in Greenport, New York.  She has a general practice that focuses on trust and estates, corporate and small business law, real estate law and litigation, and landlord-tenant law.

Melissa was elected as the Village Justice of Stewart Manor, New York in 2017 and served a four year term ending in 2021.

Prior to opening her office in Greenport, Melissa was the managing attorney at a mid-sized firm in Nassau where she oversaw the litigation and compliance departments and practiced real estate litigation and bankruptcy law throughout New York City and Long Island. Previously, Melissa worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where she focused on regulatory compliance matters for large banks and national insurers. She successfully managed projects with multi-million dollar budgets, and oversaw 90+ staff members. 

Melissa is licensed to practice law in New York State, and in federal court, in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.  Melissa graduated St. John's Law in 2013, and Manhattan College in 2010.
